Help Stop the Council From Putting Rex Down Before 82-Year-Old Prudence Can Save Him.

Prudence is 82. For 18 years she's run Saving The Pups out of her own pocket, taking in every dog nobody else would, never once for herself.

One of them is Rex, a former military dog she found starving at his handler's grave with a tumor on his chest.

Now the shelter has lost its funding and been ordered to close. When it does, the council seizes the dogs, and any they decide are "too sick to rehome" are put down. Because of his tumor, Rex is first on that list.

That's why we started this petition. We're demanding the council hold off and give Prudence the time to fund Rex's surgery and keep her doors open. Every signature is proof that people won't let them put this dog down without a fight.
